Brett Miller

Vice President of Finance

Brett Miller joined the Maveron team in September 2007, bringing more than 10 years of venture capital financial accounting and reporting experience. His impressive financial know-how allows Maveron the ability to provide its constituents with the highest level of service.

Prior to joining Maveron, Brett was an audit manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, (PwC). During his tenure at PwC, he worked in both the San Jose and Seattle offices, serving large and small venture capital, leveraged buyout and fund-of-fund clients. He has also served venture-backed start-up and public companies in the high-tech and life-science industries.

In his spare time, Brett is the treasurer for The Healing Center, a Seattle-based nonprofit organization that provides grief support services for children, adults and families. He is a devoted husband and father of two daughters, and is enthusiastic about traveling, snowboarding, fishing and spending time outdoors with his dog.

Brett graduated from California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo with a BS in business administration with concentrations in accounting and finance. He is also a certified public accountant in the state of Washington.
