Howard Schultz, the chairman, president and chief executive officer of Starbucks Coffee Company, co-founded Maveron in 1998 with Dan Levitan. Howard’s vast experience as an entrepreneur, executive, business leader and innovator in the consumer sector has been invaluable to Maveron and our portfolio companies. Howard has served on the boards of directors of Maveron portfolio companies, eBay (NASDQ: EBAY), drugstore.com (NASDQ: DSCM), and Potbelly Sandwich Works, among others. He currently serves on the board of Groupon and Pinkberry.
