Nia Zhang

Senior Analyst

Nia Zhang joined Maveron as a senior financial analyst in September 2009. Nia most recently worked as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch in New York City where she accumulated experience in the Global Mergers & Acquisitions group and the Global Healthcare group. Nia has valued both public and private companies across multiple industries for merger advisory, leveraged buyouts, leveraged recapitalizations, takeover and activist acquisitions, equity and debt offerings in the interest of evaluating cash flow, accounting, earnings, credit and pro forma implications of transactions. Nia graduated from New York University class of 2008 where she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a minor in Mandarin Chinese. Her interest in travel and economic development has taken her throughout the Middle East and China, where she resided in Dubai and studied in Shanghai at East China Normal University while simultaneously co-founding a successful translation business.
