Their exclusive lucy label fashion-forward performance wear was created to inspire active women to go the extra mile. Whether it’s hitting the gym, practicing yoga, running, or exploring the outdoors, lucy celebrates the joy of working out. Yet they’re obsessed with fashion, as well. Using a mix of high-tech fabrics, precise fit and a stylist’s eye, they design gear with styles, colors, and details that can’t be found anywhere else. They also offer a unique selection of hard-to-find niche brands and traditional performance brands. Launched in 1999, the company has charted an unconventional path to success. Debuting as lucy.com online, they shifted their focus to brick-and-mortar stores in 2001 and now operate stores throughout the U.S. The company was sold to V.F. Corporation (NYSE: VFC) in 2007.
