The experience begins with plain, green tea, coffee, or pomegranate yogurt, which is then enhanced with a palette of toppings ranging from fresh pomegranate and raspberries to Fruity Pebbles™, chocolate and granola. The sensually appealing taste and stylish, modern interiors have attracted a rapidly growing following from coast to coast. Inspired by Europe’s gelato, America’s ice cream pastime, and our current obsession with health, Pinkberry’s brand promise manages to hit the sweet spot with consumers. It was founded in Los Angeles in 2005 by entrepreneurs Shelly Hwang and Young Lee, and has since grown to more than 60 locations throughout California and New York.
