Lewis is passionate about helping people achieve their full potential, whether it is in business, politics or athletics. He joined Maveron in 2007 working with portfolio companies and Maveron operations. Lewis currently serves on the board of Kinetix Living. Lewis has an extensive background driving operations and a strong track record of returns, most recently serving as President and Chief Operating Officer of HouseValues where he directed revenue growth in two years from $48 million to $98 million, while generating $35 million in net cash from operations. Prior to HouseValues Lewis was part of the executive team that took Onvia public, raising $240 million and completing five acquisitions in less than two years. As President and Chief Operating Officer, Lewis revamped the company's strategy, transformed it from a business-to-business to a business-to-government model. In addition to two decades of business management experience, Lewis held positions in national politics, serving on Capitol Hill and in several high profile campaigns. He holds a degree in Business from the University of Washington where he was elected President of the Associated Students. In addition to his work in venture capital, Lewis has been very involved in supporting a number of charitable organizations, including serving on the Board of Trustees for Harborview Medical Center. Lewis is an avid athlete competing in triathlons and he enjoys traveling with his partner in remote countries on their bicycles or scuba diving in warm waters.
