Brody Stout joined Maveron as a Senior Associate in January 2007. Over the past decade, Stout has spent much of his time as an entrepreneur and advisor to technology start-ups. He started his technology career in 1996 as the co-founder and CTO of Right Brain Interactive, an edu-tainment software company that delivered dynamic learning solutions to the K-12 market based upon the user’s preferred learning style. When Right Brain was acquired by The Learning Company in 1999, Stout joined Prospect Street Ventures, an early-stage venture fund focused on opportunities in the consumer technology, advertising, and telecom services industries. Prior to joining Maveron, Stout was a Senior Associate at Key Venture Partners, a $200 million venture fund investing in expansion-stage technology and IT-enabled business services companies. Stout received his BS in Industrial Engineering with distinction from Cornell University.
