At Maveron we believe that world-class founders who put their customers first build long-lasting, venture scale consumer companies that persist and withstand the test of time. We are thoughtful about surrounding ourselves with the right people who believe that to their very core, and who are obsessed with finding the next breakout consumer-tech brands. We believe that the business of venture, which we are so fortunate to be in, demands integrity, hard work, and curiosity. We are excited to announce today that in the winding journey that venture can be, our paths have crossed with that of our newest team member, Natalie Dillon. Natalie is a proud San Francisco native and Stanford grad. She’s someone with knack for community building and a drive to win. We admired Natalie’s learning mindset, the fact that she is a fanatical student of consumer, and her ability to earn the trust and respect of those around her.

Natalie joins us from Susa Ventures, a premier seed-stage fund in San Francisco. During her year at Susa, Natalie worked with the team to source and help diligence several investments, largely in the consumer space. We are thankful to Susa for Natalie’s early training, growing network, and deep understanding of the seed ecosystem. Before Susa, Natalie was a research associate at Silicon Valley Bank, where her passion for studying markets, building relationships, and identifying outliers began. Stories about Natalie speak to her hustle, relationship-minded nature, and intellectual curiosity. From walking on to the Stanford varsity tennis team, to organizing women in venture retreats, Natalie seizes life at full force. Natalie invests 110% to the people and subject matters she’s passionate about, and we couldn’t imagine a better representative of the Maveron ethos of “heart & hustle”.

I’ve known Natalie for a number of years now and have seen her thought process, her connectivity across a number of networks, and her insight into the venture world evolve and mature. She’s quickly emerging as an informative venture voice on Twitter, and I highly encourage you to follow herfor timely insights on top tech news and trends. We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome her to the Maveron family and are eager to see the consumer tech brands she identifies and helps invests in through our platform. Please join us in welcoming our newest Senior Associate, Natalie Dillon!
