Growing up, Angelina took her History classes seriously, but always felt impatient to get back to Math and Science. She was most energized by looking forward vs back.

Angelina has a long-standing passion for Consumer Tech - and today, Consumer AI - for its ability to fundamentally question the status quo and progressively improve how we live, from days to decades to generations. She’s perpetually inspired by consumer founders who love the pursuit, are grounded, and have grand, visionary, unbounded thinking.

Angelina studied Engineering at Dartmouth, where she focused on designing and building human-centered digital and physical products. One project - a battery-operated spray bottle designed to address Carpal Tunnel Syndrome - stemmed from her discovery that ~40% of Dartmouth custodians experienced the condition, largely due to repeated use of standard mechanical spray bottles. She continued pursuing Consumer Tech after college, narrowing her focus to digital consumer businesses and covering Consumer Internet Investment Banking at Citigroup.

Prior to Maveron, Angelina was at Premji Invest in Menlo Park, where she built and led the Consumer AI & Consumer Tech practice. Her investments included Runway, Canva, Essor (Heyday), and Robinhood. She is especially excited to continue backing the Consumer AI mavericks rethinking how the internet is structured across categories.

After investing in Heyday, Angelina joined the company’s Growth Team full-time, building the foundation for its AI-driven merchandising program. There, she went deeper into early diffusion models, developing the data-driven workflows that optimized consumer product listing imagery at scale.

Angelina grew up on the East Coast with two sisters and physician parents - an Ophthalmologist and an OBGYN - needless to say, her interest in human-centered specialties started here. She spent several years in San Francisco, which became part of her, and now splits her time between SF and NYC. A lifelong tennis player, she also loves hiking, cycling, downhill skiing, running, cooking with produce from local farmers’ markets, and all things Italy.
